NEW LOOK

While we get volume 2 of Sucker Literary together, I figured it was time to get a new look, (try) to establish a brand, if you will. Our signature lollipop is now incorporated into the new look. We are trying to work on a logo right now, too. For now, take a look-see at some of the ideas for our logo below…and look around at the site. We are, as always, a work-in-progress!

Below are some snapshots of the logo in progress….

I like the last one. Logo and name together but not encroaching on each other.

The blocky script seems to detract from the quirky vibrance of the sucker. What about having the word sucker incorporated into the color/swirl patter on the candy and then the words literary magazine to the right beneath the candy (just under the curve)?

Or, sorry another thought, why not have the candy’s swirl unspooling and forming the word Sucker and then the literary magazine part could be written under that in black script?

I like the last one, too.

i think it would be cool if the works ‘sucker literary’ were spiraled around the lolipop (not in it, but around, so it would be easy and clear to read). Also the words should be in the shape of a mouth of a smiley face. (sorry for being unclear but i hope you know what i mean), so lolipop with sucker literary around the bottom. good luck to you

RR, your idea sounds cool. What about of having part of the swirl from the sucker form an “S” and then the rest in black script?
